Selas Radiant KVA Burner

Features & Benefits : The KVA Burner provides a wide turndown operating range with minimum pressure change. The VA Burner offers high turndown of 20:1 or even higher. Selas’ versatile VA-Burner employs the variable-area principle. That is, the position of the burner tip changes as the pressure exerted by the fuel mixture upon the burner diaphragm changes. When mixture pressure exceeds that of a retaining spring, the diaphragm immediately responds by moving the tip to a new position which provides an enlarged port area.

  • Faster heating. The high speed of radiant heat transfer and greater intimacy between the heat source and the work piece assures faster heating without flame impingement.
  • Finer control. Burners focus radiant heat and, when necessary, pattern the heat to yield different degrees of intensity. Uneven heat losses in a furnace can be offset by directing radiant heat so it is proportional to losses.
  • Improved product quality. Faster, more uniform heating frequently improves product quality as it minimizes scaling, decarburization, and the oxidation of materials.

Specifications :
Fuel : Mixed Gas, Mfg.Gas, Natural Gas and LPG
Burner Capacity : 4000 Btu/hr() to 175000 Btu/hr()
Air/Gas Mixture Pressure : 2” wc to 40” wc

Selas DNS Nozzle Mix Burner

Features & Benefits : Selas DNS Duradiant burners differ in operation & performance from conventional open fire burners. The cup like design and the manner in which the burning air/gas mixture sweeps across the cup are responsible for their outstanding performance. The DNS nozzle mix burner quickly and thoroughly mixes the fuel and combustion air. The air/gas mixture enters the cup at its base. Combustion is rapid so there is a quick release of the total heat potential of the fuel and the heat is radiated from the fully reacted gas that are closer to theoretical flame temperature Also because the Combustion is complete within the cup, the heat exiting from the cup is uniform, stable and highly controllable.

Endorsed by major global companies like APV Bakers. Selas ERB Ensign ribbon burners outperforms all previous zone burners in :

  • Can be placed closer to the work pieces than conventional type burners
  • Operates at Stoichiometric conditions, thus eliminating the heat load that exits with the excess air
  • Step design of burner provides flow barrier to protect casing from overheating.
